i can honestly say this was the best day ive ever had in my working life!!!

the shoot was the world's luckiest co-incidence!!! we had planned to shoot anja for ages but the day before the shoot we thought- shit- we better call her agency to see if she's allergic to cats (cause alot of people are, y'know). we didn't hear back from them so we were a bit nervous. anyway... on the day of the shoot anja showed up- its turns out she was so obsessed with cats she has 4 cat tattoos! FOUR! it was the funnest day and she was such a good sport - we even had to put tuna on her to make the cat go to her hahaha and she didnt even complain.

anja- you are the biggest legend! thanks also to mandy oraclefox and nicole garypeppervintage for helping out on the day. and of course to miff (the cat) who was pulling the best 'blue steel' poses by the end of the day, and his owner, diedre.

savannah is possibly the prettiest city in the world! have you seen 'midnight in the garden of good and evil'? its a true story - this the house where it was filmed and where kevin spacey's character actually lived. if you go you absolutely HAVE to go to mrs wilkes dining room. this restaurant been open since the 1940s and its worth the 2hr wait in line. once you get inside it's like being in a southern belle's home. everyone sits at communal tables and they bring out more food than you could ever imagine. best fried chicken and biscuits anywhere!

To undertake this internship it is absolutely necessary that you are able to complete CAD (technical, flat-lay) images.

Tasks you will undertake are:
· Design research and trend forecasting
· creating CADs using InDesign
· Speccing garments
· Basic patternmaking
· Sourcing samples and fabrics
· Communicating garment revisions to factory
· Assisting with photoshoot styling
· creating 'range guides' for sales agents,
· assiting with in-store merchandising,
· analysing sell-through reports.
· all interns will also be expected to do ad hoc duties such as packing boxes, answering the phones etc.

Outside, street posts cast shadows across the eroded pavement, rain drips from men’s trench coats, and the femme fatale lures us into her world of crime and seduction. Appearance is everything. Beauty is a curse. Where decadence is juxtaposed with decay... things are not what they seem.
